Established in May of 2024, Emerson Ave Coffee is a coffee shop located on the corner of Emerson Ave and Genesee St, right in the heart of South Utica!
We are passionate about connection, celebrating the arts, and reflecting the incredible diversity of our local community.
Oh and really, really good coffee.
We’ve proudly served Partners Coffee as our espresso since day one, and have grown to love Tug Hill Roasters as our drip coffee.
All our syrups are made in-house with high quality ingredients.
We also offer pastries from local bakeries St. Drogos, gluten free pastries from City Cafe, and often feature specials by other local bakers.
Emerson Ave Coffee was established in May of 2024 in the space that was previously known as Cafe Domenico.
It was an unexpected dream come true to be able to carry on the legacy of being the neighborhood coffee shop for South Utica, and we are committed to continuing to be a space that facilitates bringing people together and celebrates all our local area has to offer, all while providing a high-end specialty coffee experience.
Emerson Ave Coffee is a woman owned business, run by upstate NY native and previous Cafe Domenico employee Becca Gleason.
She and her husband Neall live in South Utica with their 2 dogs, Luna and Bowie, and are extremely grateful to be an active part of the community.
